Our aim is to organise a complete pigeon shooting experience in Great Britain, so we provide all the equipment e.g. cartridges, required decoying equipment (inc high-tech flappers, hides etc), shooting, accommodation and food.

Many of our customers come from abroad because we are located very close to the ferry port of Hull, which has a direct route to main land Europe. We speak fluent German and Czech and are capable of fully organising your trip, covering everything from ferries to licences to cartridges.

Due to the area there is to shoot over we ask people to come by car or by prior arrangement they can rent a Land Rover Defender from us, so that they are fully mobile.

Average day

The pigeon shooting is usually sold in packages of one to five days in which all forms of vermin may be shot e.g. magpie, fox etc. When you arrive we like to give you a tour around the Estate, to show you what we have and provide some orientation. We will also give you a map that shows the Estates land and present cropping cycle.

The peak pigeon shooting times are early morning and evening, so these are the times we concentrate on. However we have no problem with clients entertaining themselves during quieter moments with rabbits, squirrel shooting, etc, or try some of our other option such as fishing or falconry.

If for whatever reasons you feel moving position would be a good idea you are more than welcome to move to anywhere on the map. With over 6000 acres there is plenty to explore!

We have found that many clients like to mix pigeon shooting with other options e.g. rabbit lamping and deer stalking.

We provide free of charge walkie-talkies for safety reasons and also to save on your phone bill.

Dates

Wood pigeons in England lay eggs through out the year, this results in the season being always open.

Accommodation

We have very recently (Jan 2007) completely restored a typical Estate cottage as a Four Star Holiday Cottage. The cottage is ideally located and very well furnished. For more information and pictures please click here.

Morning and afternoon pigeon shooting	£65 / day
Licence to bring a shotgun with administrate costs for non-UK shooters (both shotgun and rifle are same price, second weapon no extra charge)	£30
Accommodation in Estate Cottage	£20 / night
Cartridges 12 bore (other sizes available by arrangement costs may vary)	£5 / box (lead shot)

The minimum group size is two people. If you are on your own we can link you with another person.
Within the price shooters can keep up to 5 pigeons they have shot, if you wish to keep more the cost is 20 pence a bird.
